INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY in Noida

Interventional Radiology at Classic Diagnostics — minimally invasive image-guided procedures performed by trained interventional radiologists.

What is Interventional Radiology?

Interventional Radiology (IR) uses imaging guidance (ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy) to perform minimally invasive procedures — biopsies, drainages, vascular interventions, tumor embolisation and pain procedures. Most procedures use needles or thin catheters through a tiny skin incision, with faster recovery than open surgery.

Common IR procedures

CT or USG-guided FNAC / biopsy · Pleural / ascitic / abscess aspiration & drainage · Image-guided pain blocks · PICC line placement · Nephrostomy · Liver and kidney lesion biopsies · Selected vascular interventions in tertiary partnerships.
